Reading back issues of British Country Living magazine 

dreaming of summer pies with some of my hand dyed yarn.

Calling this one.."Bleubarb"!

Still working on plying.  The jumbo 

flyer has been wonderful so far..

Then there is Boo.

Boohumbug: A mystery knit-along from Christmas,

which is no longer a mystery as I am behind in the knit.

Moving on to the next clue today.

There are beads.

I've never knit with beads.

Should be interesting!

Morning Ply..

Taking the jumbo Lendrum plying head for a test drive this morning.

I've been trying to pack what I've plied on to the regular bobbin

and keep running out of room.

I was worried about taking the arm off the wheel to get the larger drive band on but it 

was easy-peasy.  Now I just leave both bands on with one gathered below with

and elastic band.

Some hand dyed yarns from the studio re-skeined..

Also finished up some fingerless mitts for a friend.

These are from hand dyed, hand spun yarns I made 

a while back..

"Beach Tote" on the left and "Popsicle" on the right.

Have my nose in dye books as of late 

and totally enjoying the exploration of color.

Flying in the new year with lots of color!
