Ah...The Antarktis..
How I adore this pattern.
This is the third time I've knit it and it won't be the last.
It is the first thing I grab when heading out the door.
Perfect size..
Perfect drape..
Just plain cozy.
Knitting this one with a skein of my hand dyed yarn.
Had the hankering for for chartreuse and purples.
Do you have a go-to knit that you love?

Love this pattern Leigh- I looked at Ravelry and yes, the drape is divine.
ReplyDeleteIs beautiful yarn yours :)
yes I too went and found it on Ravelry and oh my I love your yarn colour.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern and yarn. It will make a spectacular shawl. I always seem to knit socks on the go, though right now I'm working on an infinity scarf as my travel project.
ReplyDeleteThat pattern has been a favourite of mine for a while....you're tempting me to cast on!
ReplyDeleteYour yarn is gorgeous!!
My go-to is Brickless. I will have to check this pattern out. It looks beautiful with that yarn!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit addicted to both the Color Affection, and my own adapted recipe for simple stockinette socks. :)
ReplyDeleteWhelp, that does it: I need to get back to knitting a shawl! Gorgeous yarn, pattern, and knitting!
ReplyDelete(Found this from Ginny's Yarn-Along.)
I'm a new knitter (just taught myself less than a year ago) so I wouldn't say I have a go-to pattern yet. Though I must admit that I recently finished a Saroyan scarf and ADORE how it turned out and it was easy. I made it as a gift and have already bought yarn to make another one (also a gift)!
