Semi-solids..

Some soft fingering weight semi-solids will be making their way into the shop.  I am excited to add a pop of color to compliment the variegated colors! The addition has been a bit slower than I hoped as my desktop computer died last week.  Looks like I am up and running again! 'Noble' shown with 'Maine Farm' above.. Be sure to send me a note if there is a particular color you would like to see as a semi-solid! ~

Fern Fronds

Many thanks for such a successful first update on the new site! Please know how much I appreciate all your love and support! My favorite knit designer Janina Kallio of Woolenberry recently released a new shawl design "Fern Fronds." I could hardly wait for the yarn to dry so I could cast-on! I had a handful of blanks in the dye stash from a prior experiment.  Dyed them up and popped them in the shop. There will be a shop update this Saturday evening, July 21, at 7pm EST.  Loads of new DK and Fingering goodies will be added!  If you would like to be notified of future shop...

Hunca Munca

Remember Hunca Munca? Sometimes the colors that come from the dye pots remind me so much of Beatrix Potter's beautiful watercolors. I've always loved Beatrix Potter's 'Tale of Two Bad Mice'. This colorway had to be called 'Hunca Munca'.. (Hunca Munca's image reposted from here)
